See Wind Power Up Close!
Ever wonder what it is like to make wind power? Now you can learn all about it on site when you sign up to take a tour of Kingdom Community Wind in Lowell, Vermont.
This summer’s tours will be at 10:00 a.m. on July 10th and July 17th. Tickets are free, and space is limited, so please make sure to pre-register.
The tours offer an informal setting to learn about producing wind energy and check out wind turbines up close. Each tour takes about 90 minutes and you head up Lowell Mountain to visit two of the site’s 21 turbines.
