Green Mountain Power Among Top Utilities for Customer Satisfaction
J.D. Power’s 2018 Rankings Show GMP Second Highest for Mid-Sized Utilities in the East Region

COLCHESTER, Vt. – Green Mountain Power is excited to announce that customers ranked GMP second highest for mid-sized utilities in the East Region in J.D. Power’s 2018 electric utility residential customer satisfaction study. GMP has achieved a high-ranking three years in a row, demonstrating a strong record of continued excellence. GMP’s results have risen every year over the past six years, showing a 20-percent increase in customer satisfaction.

The J.D. Power report results come directly from customers. Companies in the midsize utility segment serve between 100,000 and 499,999 residential customers. The study measures customer satisfaction with electric utilities by examining power quality and reliability, customer service, cost, billing, corporate citizenship and communications.
