Whole building control.
These centralized systems reduce emissions, are highly efficient for heating and cooling, and provide temperature control for your entire building using geothermal or air-to-water technology.
These systems use pipes in the ground to transfer underground heat to and from your home to keep it warm in winter, and cool in summer! GMP’s partnership with Dandelion Energy helps you save when you install a qualified system: $1,800 per ton heating output up to 10 tons, with Efficiency Vermont offering an extra $300, for a total of $2,100 per ton (a typical home uses a 4 ton system). Dandelion’s service area covers Bennington County right now, with plans to expand. Learn more from Dandelion or call 833-GEO-4ALL.
Air to Water.
These air to water centralized systems can supply heat (or cooler temps) to every part of the building unlike ductless air-source heat pumps, which work by moving air through a room or open space. These will work with baseboard systems.
Heating is the #2 source of carbon pollution in Vermont!
Switching away from fossil fuels for heating has a big impact on reducing your carbon footprint. And, GMP’s energy supply is 95% carbon free and 64% renewable!
Save on your system!
Qualified geothermal systems, including Dandelion, have a custom project rebate of $1,800 per heating ton up to 10 tons, with Efficiency Vermont offering an additional $300 for a total of $2,100 per ton. Dandelion will give you the discount off your purchase. More details are available on Dandelion’s website or call 833–GEO-4ALL.
