Rate 1 is generally available to all single family homes, individual apartments and farms. Customers are able to use electricity at any hour of the day at one uniform rate.
Rate 3 service is separately metered to the customer's electric water heater. Customers can save money on water heating costs by allowing GMP to shut the water heater off at critical times. Customers pay a lower kWh rate in return for this limited service.
Peak Hours:
4:30-10:30 pm. No water heaters will be off for more than 5 hours.
Rate 6 is generally available to all customers. Most customers on this rate class are small commercial accounts. Customers are able to use electricity at any hour of the day at one uniform rate.
Rate 8 is generally available to all customers. Most customers on this rate class are small commercial accounts who are able to control their maximum demands allowing them to take advantage of a demand-billed and energy-billed rate class.
"A" = 3.0 * (peak kW demand - 5 kW) * number of days in the current billing period. When peak demand is less than 5, "A" = 0.
On rate 9 customers will be asked to reduce their energy use for up to ten critical peak energy days throughout the year. Savings will vary depending on your energy use and flexibility curtailing during peak periods.

Between noon and 8 pm on up to ten days between May 1st and September 30th.
Rate 11 is available to single family homes, individual apartments and farms. This is a time-of-use rate class with periods of higher-priced peak kWh and lower-priced off-peak kWh.
Peak Hours:
Monday-Friday - Eight consecutive hours between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm. These hours are subject to change.
Rate 12 is only available to existing accounts who take primary voltage service and own their own transformation equipment. This rate is not available to new service locations.
Service under rate 13 is separately metered to the customer's electric storage space heating equipment. Customers limit the hours that the space heater is able to charge to off-peak periods and pay a lower off-peak kWh rate in return for controlling the charging of this equipment themselves. This rate is not available to new service locations.
Peak Hours:
A 16-hour period within the 18-hour period between 6 am and 12 am. The exact 16-hour period during this 18-hour window is subject to change.
Rate 14 is for customers who can limit energy use year-round during peak periods during the day, Monday through Friday, and can reduce their use between noon and 8 pm on up to ten days between May 1st and September 30th during critical peak periods. Savings will vary depending on your energy use and flexibility curtailing during peak periods.

May 1 through October 31 - Eight consecutive hours between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm for Monday-Friday.
November 1 through April 30 - Four consecutive hours between 7:30 am and 11:30 am and four consecutive hours between 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Rate 63/65 is available to all non-residential and farm customers on an optional basis and required for customers consuming 7,600 kWh or more per month or using more than 200 kW.
This rate is for customers who are interested in saving money by managing the timing of maximum demands and kWh use, thereby taking advantage of lower off-peak kW and kWh rates.
Rate 70 is available to Commercial and Industrial accounts who take service directly from the high-voltage transmission grid and have peak demands in excess of 10 MW.
Customers who invest in their own high-voltage transformation equipment can take advantage of lower rates since GMP is not required to provide and maintain these transformation, transmission and distribution facilities.

There is improved reliability by using the battery during power outages. Also reduced rates are available for customers who allow GMP to utilize the energy stored in the battery for peak reduction purposes.
This program is applicable to Residential and General Service Non Time of Use customers who wish to lease eligible energy storage equipment, and agree to install and operate it, while allowing the Company to control the equipment.
